Accidentally Happy…

Have you ever found something by accident that just really made you happy? Yesterday, my friend and I were going to kill some time before one of her Dr. appointments and she wanted to take me to a place that she knew I would love. We like to go to Starbucks and talk while we sip on coffee, at least a couple times a week. So she thought I would enjoy this store that specialized in teas. When we were walking over to the tea shop I noticed a little store next door, “Is that a Scrapbooking store?” I asked. Yes, it is. If any of you know me well, I LOVE paper! So we had to go in and look. The store was wall to wall scrapbooking paper and supplies. I like to scrapbook, but I haven’t done it in a while because I don’t have anyone else to do it with. So I stick to my card making…and scrapbook paper makes great cards! Anyway, we spent a while in there looking around just to see what they had. We were getting ready to leave when my friend pointed out some punches on a wall and we walked over to look at them. I was looking around when I found the scissors that I have been hunting all over for, my Cutter Bee scissors. I have probably got 10 pairs of scissors, but none of them work like those Cutter Bee’s. They are thin, sharp, and so good at cutting little tiny peices of paper…that’s why they are my favorite…and why I was even happier to have accidentally found this store! At the moment I have tons of scrapbook paper I need to use, so I don’t need to shop for any papers, but now I know where to go to get my scissors. Yay!
Have a good day!

I love “happy accidents” like these! Except I refer to them as “Sacred Signs” from God. Congratulations on finding the scissors!

Just read up on all of your blogs. I love it when you write about your day or about the kids, or whatever you are doing.

Keep up the good work and Happy New year to you too. I know this will be a great year for all of us. Your little kitten is sweet and glad it keeps you company. And I hope you get to the bottom of the ghost story. It’s always interesting to read about that.

  3. I call that happenstance! What luck!
