As promised, I am posting the recipe for the cream cheese frosting I love to make. I refuse to buy the store bought stuff anymore!
The first time I made it I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it’s not, it’s just right! …and is absolutely delicious!
Cream Cheese Frosting…
1 8oz. package of cream cheese
1/2c. of margarine
1 package of powdered sugar
In a mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, margarine, and vanilla together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time. It usually takes 6 to 8 cups to get to the consistency it needs to be. When finished spread on cake and put the cake in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
